We are not going to start annoying discussion using such statements as Flash-killer and so on. It is clear that media wars have twisted the real meaning of HTML5 technology. So, we want to state that our today’s collection has nothing to do with all that Flash opposition – we just want to show you the best examples of HTML5 demos that were created using JS, CSS, and tag “canvas”. These experiments show that HTML5 has a huge potential and there is no doubt that we will see more interesting stuff from HTML5 in the nearest future.
Considering non-official status of HTML5, we should remind you about browser compatibility issues. It means that the best way to estimate excellent performance of all these effects is browsing via latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari. Hope you’ll have fun by playing all these demos and maybe find inspiration to create your own HTML5 effect.
