Step 1

Adding Illustration. The first step is to remove all the useless elements of your header. Then you have to add the chosen illustration to the header. Before adding you have to flip the image of the snowblader. Open this illustration in Photoshop, go to the main menu Edit >Transform >Flip Horizontal and you will get it in the desired position. Then save it and move with the click of the mouse to the desired place of the header (here you add it to the right side)

Step 2

Creating the background. Now let’s go to creating background. Pick the Rectangular Marquee Tool from the Toolbox and define the area for the new header background and stretch it out for the desired size.

Step 3

Adding shiny effect. Now pick the Polygonal Lasso Tool from the Toolbox in order to outline the figure of the snowblader and then click Ctrl+J to duplicate the defined part of the image.

Step 4

For the chosen shape use the Outer Glow style. Go to the Layers Panel, choose the layer containing shape, double click on Layer Thumbnail to open Layer Style Panel, choose Outer Glow and set. In such a way you will get the shiny look of this very layer.
